Restoration under monumental protection.

Our house dates from the 18th to early 19th century. It is built of sandstone and sits directly on the southern wall of the city of Erlangen. When we got it, it was completely covered with tiles, the roof was in need of renovation, and inside the not refurbished part, which is now our café, was used as a storage and boiler room.
Due to a historical painting and old files from the city archives, we started the renovation in cooperation with the monument protection authority and the district of Middle Franconia in order to restore the original condition of the building outside and inside. We are happy that we are finished after several years of pouring our heart and soul into it, and hope you like it too.
